Our journey with Odyssey started humbly. Joel found our first boat at a job site. It was sun-faded, grass growing through the floor, and priced too good to pass up. It wasn’t pretty, but it floated. That boat became our entry into river life. That boat held long summer days, cold water, sandy lunches, the first floats with our newborn daughter.

When it came time to upgrade, choosing another Odyssey felt natural. Joel’s background in metalworking led him to build a custom frame, which eventually caught the attention of Odyssey’s owner. What started as one frame turned into full-time fabrication. Before long, we were selling boats and frames out of our garage. Helping other families, anglers, and whitewater enthusiasts get on the water became our passion.
We were hooked.

After five years as dealers, the opportunity to purchase Odyssey came along, and we didn’t hesitate. It was already a well-known, proudly Montanan brand built on quality and versatility. These were values that matched our own.

Today, we run Odyssey the same way we live our lives: with hard work, pride, and a deep love for the river. Every raft we sell is one we trust our own family in.
